Real estate aggregation platform — multi-database rescue

Client: Large real estate company

Stack: Multi-database PHP/SQL platform, data integrations

• Revived and sustained a multi-database, multi-server platform with 300+ GB of databases and 3+ TB of files.
• Stabilized operations, improved performance, and ensured robust backup and recovery for critical real estate data.
• Continued feature development while maintaining data integrity and uptime.

Rust-based news aggregation & AI newsletter platform

Client: Data & content platform

Stack: Rust, Docker, headless scraping, embeddings, Next.js, Google Sheets, LLM APIs, Mailchimp

• Improved and refactored a Rust news aggregation engine for performance and clarity.
• Added a Docker dev environment and experimentation capabilities for ranking algorithms.
• Integrated with a Next.js front-end and built AI-assisted newsletter workflows using LLMs, Google Sheets, Canva, and Mailchimp.

Hypermarket platform — scaling to millions of requests per day

Client: Large online hypermarket

Stack: Custom PHP/Laravel-based backend, MySQL, caching, background jobs

• Took over a heavily customized, undocumented legacy system as the sole developer.
• Stabilized and modernized a platform serving 3M+ requests/day and 350k+ products.
• Improved performance, robustness, and maintainability without a full rewrite.

Laravel/Vue marketplace — modernization & acceleration

Client: Online marketplace platform

Stack: Laravel, Vue 2→3, Webpack→esbuild, SQL, Stripe Connect

• Migrated from Vue 2 to Vue 3, modernized the build pipeline, and removed outdated dependencies.
• Reduced JS bundle size from ~1.6 GB to ~300 MB and sped up builds by about 3×.
• Improved full page load from 6.5 seconds to ~1 second, fixed SSR & CLS issues, and optimized heavy SQL jobs from minutes to seconds.
• Implemented Stripe Connect payments, social logins, and streaming-related features.

Client: 1C (large software vendor)

Stack: 1C:Enterprise, CAT tooling, PHP/SQL web apps, documentation systems

• Designed and developed the 1C:Translator CAT system for translation, quality assurance, workload management, and publishing.
• Managed localization and documentation for multiple products and training materials.
• Rebuilt major parts of the international developer network site, including the store, CMS, documentation, and partner support.
